Does skoda roll out infotainment software updates at all?

At the moment, only to cure a known fault.

There is plenty of (unfounded as far as I can tell) speculation that MirrorLink, CarPlay etc. may be available as a chargeable upgrade at a (unspecified) time in the future.

Who knows what will happen! If they do it will be a first.

Seeing as I had to order a SmartGate retro-fit kit from the Czech Republic as the Skoda dealer wouldn't sell me one even after I provided the part number, and Skoda UK Executive Complaints dept told me that Technical had told them categorically that it can't be retrofitted (which it can), I'm not holding my breath for a MirrorLink update being forthcoming in the UK.

Pity. Commercially to see the likes of this software rolled out especially to its premium models (and company car, catchment) i would have thought it would be wise.

LOL,

But which engine is yours? Anyway, let an Italian seriously doubt about this...

How do you manage to get bad economy on a diesel? Driving a 2.0 TDI feels like free miles compared to the T5 Volvo I drove before it. I'm getting double the milage and paying less for fuel.
