I ordered my new black Octavia RS today for delivery in the next 10 days

I'll be sad to see my Impreza go but am looking forward to learning all about the little Czech fella!

i too am looking forward to getting my RS, brand new but already APR'ed and exhausted(!) next tuesday. more mods to follow in due course.........

If it helps, I thought that I would miss my Impreza a lot more than I actually did !

Refinement, comfort, solidity, fuel economy and stealth all help to ease the transition...

Funny this should come up but I'm currently involved in a long running **** taking drama with an STi owner I know.

(Only joking James, I know you're going to read these threads. But on the other hand you did spend quite alot on that car didn't you? And once a week to Sainsburys isn't really the full on 'Colin McRae Experience' is it?)

TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. K

Hi there, Just a question about an issue I've had on my mk1 Fabia 1.2 HTP with electric hydraulic power steering. The power steering was going intermittently so I replaced the pump with a used one which fixed the issue. However, the other day I was turning at low speed whilst my sat nav was powered from the 12v socket ("cigarette lighter") and the power steering just totally died, steering warning light came on and no steering assist whatsoever. Hello all, I am looking for advice from the hive mind please. We have a 2012 Fabia Scout and it needs new shocks, maybe rear springs too. Most places list these items, but they are the standard Fabia items, and I believe that the Scout has a slightly different spec suspension. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the correct items please? Many thanks in advance for advice received. Darren

Hi, Partner acquired this 2023 1.0 Fabia last year. So far, the resistor pack for the fan has packed (!) up and the actuator for the fuel flap needed replacing. These were done under warranty. She's had the car back from its MOT and warranty work and now there's a light on the dash saying "check brake lights." The light on the nearside is out and there's only one reversing light, on the offside. Are the rear lights all LED? No bulb I can change? If it is a bulb, how do I get to it? Are th

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that.
