Electric windows

Featured Replies

Is there a way to enable the one touch open of the electric windows?

Both driver and passenger side currently require you to hold down the electric window button to do a full open / close, unlike the Fabia 2 where you could just 'click' the switch quickly, and it would automatically fully open or close the windows.

Hope that makes sense... this is for a UK Fabia SE L

:)

edit: the dealer states the option / functionality doesn't work on the new Fabia... I smell a big fat cop-out, so want to double check!  :)

The driver's window in mine is one touch but the other three aren't.

Put the window down, then up and hold the switch up ( with window closed ) for a good few seconds. Does this not reset the windows.

Worth a try

I'll check later.. I'm sure it's the same as the Mk1..

Afraid this is one of the Skoda cost saving exercises if you got the optional rear electric windows the drivers side will be one touch but the switch is physically different and has the additional position for the one touch feature. So to start with you will need to replace the current switches with the one touch version, then it's if the feature is supported by the motors or needs turning on in some way in the ecu.

thanks all - will only be front electrics so sounds like it wont be an option for us... really surprising and a bit of a ****ty corner to have cut!

not picking up till tomorrow so will double check though

edit: sometimes wonder if they hold back on these things so they can freshen up the range in a couple of years and add these 'new features'

Seems to a descission made by the GB general agent. I cant buy any model without full electrical windows, AFAK.

There might be an exemption for the 75 hp 1 liter model which is only sold as a hatch here, dont know, havent checked.

But dont blame the factory. ;)
