FARB

Featured Replies

by the way, I expect you to be faster than me at how fast , because your time was better even without a RARB, so I suspect you are better round there than I am ;)

I will be compairing my time with the time I did last year ;)

And that is the best way :). I will be really curious as to how your car behaves with both FARB and RARB installed - we will trade passenger rides again!

yes indeed..... it was very useful at the national, you could demonstrate differences :) on the road it certainly feels better, havent been on the track yet , but doing many of the same tracks again this year . exce[t the national meet, never been there before

Ah, how much I'd like to be able to join those meets...  :S

make a holiday of it to the national meet, a lot of us have bought all day track tickets :) Fastest track in England too I believe ! there are ferries right? ;)

I do not think you are going to have any problems with your setup mate. As you wrote, they are designed to go together after all.

As I wrote, it is theory, which does work in practice of course but as long as you know what you are doing (H&R knows) then you will not screw up anything and make it worse.

If you went and installed uprated FARB then you'd be in trouble. You went the right way around, RARB, track days, then FARB and some more track days and you will be able to tell straight away how it behaves after the change.

My plan is to check it out with RARB first, then install front strut brace and then ultraracing system to make the car stiffer generally.

With Whiteline RARB on the stiffest setting my car is exactly where I want it to be judging from its behaviour on the public roads. Testing on a track will render the final verdict of course :)

A bit too far from Sweden I'm afraid sharky. I'd maybe consider it if I was still in France... Actually, today I was looking at a possible road-trip to Greece for this summer, (who knows what can happen in my engine bay during my time there  :giggle: )  so I'm already full in terms of travelling by car this year.

cool, I will be interested to look at the underside bracing and how it affects it, I have been thinking of a strut brace for a while , worked wonders on the eunos, but that has a weak body due to no roof.....
