1st Skoda - Adrian Flux were Awesome

Featured Replies

Recently got a Mk1 Octavia vrs after owning a mondeo st24 and 2 mondeo st200s, I really loved the v6,s but when something goes wrong be it clutch, or head gaskets etc its always pretty terminal. So was looking for a bit more reliability and still  a family 4 door with a bit of Go, it was this or an Impreza and so Glad we went with this option as its a total joy to drive :) We had a massive nightmare at the start as I wanted to declare the Modifications on the car and just be honest as its a family car and wanted it all Legit. The Alloy wheels and exhaust were all cool with companies but as soon as i mentioned the previous owner also put on full coil over suspension the doors either closed or pound signs appeared in brokers eyes! When my Mechanic said about it, i said what are coil overs, are they better than standard ect ect ( bare in mind im a complete car idiot and if it drives im happy if not it goes straight to my mates garage rather than having to touch it myself lol) He replied Christ yeah its hell of a lot better and safer, so after him saying this it blew me away how much grief i had. It almost got to the point where i was going to say Fxxk it and sell it straight back on, then mentioned it to a mate who said im with Adrian Flux give them a go. What an absolute joy these guys are and i cannot recommend them enough, they were the 1st company in 20+ insurance calls to actually treat us with respect. Im 40 years old got 23 years no claims so don't expect to be treated like some spotty little kid that wants to sit in a carpark doing wheels spins and doughnuts, to me its a family car that will probably do around 3k a year so to say they restored my faith that theyre are some decent business's out is an understatement - Tel

Hey Dan thanks for the offer but ive found it absolutely impossible to find any sort of P.M system on this site, so will call the main office tomorrow and see if I can clear the matter up as I don't fancy putting my details up on an open forum - Cheers for trying to Help - Tel :)

Ok no worries.

regards,

Dan.

I used to insure with Adrian Flux for my classic Americans. They were first rate.
