Just wondered what's the best way to clean up plastic scratched wheel trims? Should I sand them down and then respray in Silver?

 

What would be your recommendations. Having my first car (is a Skoda Fabia 1.2 2006 mid spec - mk 2), Want to know how to make them look like original because the last owner hadn't looked after the car or the plastic wheel trims very well. They are really scratched. Looks like she has had the whole farm in the boot and all over the interior!

Yes...spray them or buy some more if you can afford it

Id sand them back, flatten rough edges right off, plastic primer, then spray with wheel silver, not just silver as itl probably be too bright and blingy, wheel silver is a bit darker
