Yes, I still find them confusing.  Hope to get used to them soon...

the one on the dash is independent of the MFD and exists for those vehicles that don't have MFD, the other two are a long term addition  of relevant parameters e.g. MPG, journey time (2) or current journey (1) which resets if the ignition has not been turned on for two hours, otherwise will also continue to add up

I`m using all three of them.

One for daily trip, one for round trip and the dash one for fueling gaps.

I "sadly" do the same but remember that the two trips that are together (1) (2) are automatically reset at 100 hours of combined travel ignition on time.

100 hours or 10 000 kilometers is enought to take a trip to Spain from here and back :)

Please dont get putting ideas in my head, Calais-Rheims-Lyons-Le perthus- L'estartit.....done it in my Montego TD years ago...
