These are the ones to go for. I got second hand ones any they were terrible. Ended up with the ones above. The finish has proved very durable. Only downside is the carriers aren't painted.

 

Might just buy these and try resell the other ones? Probably best option really?

I would agree. Used ones are sought after so you should get back what you paid. Not many folk realise new ones are on Ebay for not a lot of money.

Well i was rushing to try get it all sorted and should have waited so only myself to blame, what pads/discs do you recommend? The ones stated earlier in the post okay?

Pagid discs and pads are what I use, can't fault them. Try Eurocarparts, they are normally pretty reasonable.

Make sure you get the right ones though. I normally enter a Mk1 Octy vrs in the car part finder. You'll get the right discs and pads that way!
