One shot lowering and strange iphone fault question

Featured Replies

Can someone confirm if the front windows on the vrs have one touch opening and closing?

Got the convenience setting active on the columbus and even tried the holding the button down process to reset them which didn't work. I'm out of ideas??

2nd wierd thing. Had my 5s plugged into the car via usb. Bluetooth and 4g on. Was listening to acdc shoot to thrill (great track) the nav was also running.

All of a sudden it sounded like a slurring cassette tape where the voice and music on the track got slower and then sped up all on its own! I admit i was tired but it did happen briefly on the next track too but not since. Has anyone else had that. I was like WTF!! :-0

I was wondering was the bluetooth music fighting the hard wired source or something. Really odd!

Thanks in advance.

You need to hold the lock/unlock button on the romote to open/close the windows.

Does it not work off the internal switches? I thinks its refered to as one shot lowering? My mk5 golf did it.

My vRS (swiss version) has one shot opening & closing from the internal switches (and by holding the key fob button).

However, you have to press them fairly hard & I find quite often I have to press the switch twice to get it to work (because I don't press it hard enough).

As above. It's taken me a while to get the one touch to work properly. It's not like the bmw setup where you press down for manual and a longer press for auto.

In terms of 5s, the manual says to not have blue tooth streaming on if it is plugged into the sub socket. Don't know why, but it doesn't like it. I had the same thing happen with my ipad, but it sounded like someone scratching an old vinyl record! Turned Bluetooth off and it was fine.

Cheers for that. It did sound really odd! :-0
