Have I missed anything?

Also has a clock :D There's also the history function for some of the settings, eg time car has been driven, number of miles driven, overall mpg all since computer was reset :D

thanks folks,

i found another silver with sunroof and cruise in north wales so i'll go and have a look on monday.

FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!

Good luck

One thing - there is a difference between having the computer and also having the maxidot display : I have the computer that tells trip, etc, but does so in a small led window in the lower left of the dash.

In my Audi A3 I had the maxidot-type display that showed everything in a central pixellated window, including fancy little animations of the washer fluid and wavy oil can, etc. It also showed the current radio station/cd track number, and whether traffic announcements were turned on, etc. A nice extra over the led display and I do miss it.

It was also visible even all the time, instead of being hard to see like the led display that only gets backlit when the lights are on.

was the maxi dot disply ever offered in the octy???

i have a furby vrs going mate? pm me if interested.

Methinks the maxidot was offered with the sat nav, I am not sure if it came on its own.

The trip computer also has 2 memories, one which resets after the car has been standing for several hours, and another that keeps going until its reset by the driver. So you can see the average mpg for the current trip on memory 1, and a total average mpg since the other memory was reset.

Trip 2 resets itself after a total of 100 hours travelling time, 10,000 km distance and 1000 litres of fuel consumed - if not reset sooner.
