After placing my order for the Skoda Octavia vRS TDI back in January, i am finally collecting it a week today and i seriously can't wait!

 

I'm collecting from Rainworth Skoda in Mansfield, has anyone had any dealings with them and were they efficient? After reading about orders gone wrong on this forum i am worried my car won't be as per my order.

Sure you'll love it, we're awaiting our second O3 - hopefully dealer has everything right, but try to not worry too much - us lot on here are probably a very small proportion of all new O3 but a high proportion of people who have come here for advice as they had issues - if that makes sense.

One more slightly odd question, did your new cars come with fuel in. I've heard stories of some dealers leaving you with just enough to get you to the nearest garage!!

My dealer put some fuel in, about a 1/4 of capacity.

I've had three Octavia 4x4s from Rainworth, that must say something !

Half a tank in mine (not Rainworth though), which came in handy because as soon as I collected her I was off on a 400 mile round trip in the first 24hrs of ownership.

What spec have you gone for?

I ordered mine on 23rd March and I collect it tomorrow.

Seems like a long time to wait. It amazes me how much I read of differing order/delivery times depending on specification.
