well it'd be nice and after reading a finally good write up off them by people im considering it,used to have a much slower swift sport and miss the grunt, yes i know this  will be more ,,just the fact most people seem to get rid of them at the latest 50k if not earlier, i'd want to keep this a good while

I have this a monte carlo in mind or see if i can find another roomster(both the  carlo and roomy will be 1.2 tsi as me missus has one and theyre nippier than my 1. 6), but a 1.4tsi appeals big time and i can afford payments if they are right

do they all have reversing sensors on them?

Reversing sensors where an option, I'm on my second mk2 vrs and they have both been good cars the first one I had for 3years and during that time it needed new spark plugs and fuel pump. My current vrs has just turned 1 year old and so far has been brilliant and doesn't use any oil which I'm really happy with.

Go drive both options and see which you prefer :-)

Its great fun to drive , very quick, i have had two :) I will be keeping mine :) I'm up to 43k already!

Parking sensors are an option

ok can i ask why some people have  had 2  are they that bad lol

seen one for 10k on a 12 plate 6k miles on it plus a few at 7grand there abouts  just reading the bad points makes people ask i guess i mean are there any that have collapsed? lol

I'm on my 2nd vrs because I couldn't find anything else which matched my needs for the money and I like them a lot :-)
