Are the door hinges lubricated? I am used to see that white grease smeared around the hinges and stays but the Roomies hinges and stays are clean. Do you have to lubricate the hinges?

When I have had my previous Fabias serviced in the past, the Skoda garage used a spray lubricant on all the hinges.  But when I took my current Fabia in for its first service last September, they didn't lubricate the hinges.  I thought nothing of it as I always ended up trying to remove most of the lubricant anyway where it had sprayed onto the car's bodywork.

 

It could be that Skoda have removed lubricating the hinges from the service schedules.  Either way, my unlubricated hinges work perfectly well.
