Farming Simulator 2015.....is it wrong that I want it?

Featured Replies

Says it all really....

I've seen this is now out on PS4...and I really quite fancy getting it as I love tractors and heavy machinery.

Anybody got it? Is it any good?

Not bothered about growing crops or raising livestock, I just want to plough ****!

Does it also come with simulated farm yard smells.

Got to make do with a 'scratch and sniff' disc :-(

Although, if you get the limited edition pack, you get a free Farmers wife! WIN!

You're telling us that there's a farming simulator? Sorry, I don't believe you, it's gotta be complete BS.

Ironically enough, there is probably BS in it!

Now you're milking it.

How long until? :)

I have to say though, Farm Sim does look really detailed and appeals to my inner geek. I used to love MS Train Sim

Does it have a "gerroff me land" shotgun waving minigame?

Or the young farmers drinking game?

Actual farmers don't get time for this....

It was on countryfile a while back. Some of the younger apprentices there, did actually go home and play it.

Planning, testing, there could be some really good use for it for a farmer... I'm thinking purely from plant/machinery operations, rather than how to deliver a breached lamb.

There is already something similar for training surgeons. Just need a Vet version :)

"Play with your friends on the Internet in multiplayer mode"

Do we start the Briskoda Virtual Farming Collective to rival the Elite:Dangerous crew?

Highlights,

"Eeeee digger me taters!"

"Gerroff me land!"

"Whose boots are these shoes!"

"SHEEP!"

I have played FS2013, It is good fun for just playing around ploughing and harvesting, theres no real "goal" to the game so can be either relaxed or boring depending on how you look at it. I've heard the online is quite good though, having 10 odd people working across a few fields. Best bet is to see if there is a demo of the 2015 or older versions and get a taste for it ;)

Can you create a petting section?

I mean you wouldn't want to go without Muffin the Mule. Shawn the Sheep etc.

On the other side of simulation, goat simulator is actually quite funny to play for an hour or two

That's illegal in the UK isn't it?

Not sure about Aberdeenshire :D

Or Yorkshire. That's a county where men are men & so are the women and the sheep are worried.  :D  ;)

Too right. I haven't had time to play for so long I think I've forgotten most of the controls. I've been playing FS since 2011 and it is a great game, do what you want and earn the money you need to buy what you want. Or go into the game files, give yourself a billion quid and behave like a mad man in the shop. Get a mod map with one massive field and see how much you can do or do it properly and work your way up from the bottom on the standard map with no mods at all. It's one of the best games there is and I really need to get back to it sometime.

Don't you mean BAAARbra. -the farmers best mate. And in Aberdeen ,and the East Coast- there's little depth to farm. But I mistook the "r" in farming for a "t" with much smellier results.

Nah not as scary as zombie pigmen................they get in the way when you are mining in the nether & it is very easy to hit one by accident...................then the whole horde in a 40 x 40 block goes after you..................nice
