Remap elm light problems

Featured Replies

Hi everyone this is my 1st post and was after a little advice,

I've got a 2003 mk1 octavia vrs I had a stage 1 remap put on it around a year ago,

A couple of months after a coil pack blew, the engine light came on, I replaced the coil pack, took battery off light went out, no problems for around 6 months.

I understand coil packs are an issue after a remap, again the engine light came on so I've had the rest of the coil packs replaced at a skoda dealer foc when I took it in for service, they were unable to turn off the engine light and said the problems were all attached to circuit 27

Loss of pressure under boost

Possible water temp problem

And knock sensor/ pinking

I took battery leads off again this has cleared the light, but whilst doing a test drive at all sorts of speeds engine revs etc it seems like the power I had before turning light out has gone could this be just that the ecu has to learn settings again or is there something I'm missing

Any advice would be helpful

Thanks Paul

Cough cough..

a mod may be kind enough to relocate this to the mk1 octy section... better chance help over yonder ;)
