Hi any one help me out on witch pipes go where on the abs pump brake outputs. Don't fancy testing them and stopping in a spin... so far every think else has been fitted on my pick up 256mm up front on abs hubs and abs rear drums for now rear disk later.... and I believe I don't need to run a load valve am I right.

Did you look in Haynes manual?

Haynes Manual does not show abs only wireing side I need to know the hydraulic out puts are for the brakes don't fancy ending up spinning O in road...

A fellow member having ABS should take a photo of their ABS installation.

 

Note: ABS installation is a very special job. Not for DIYers. The slightest mistake and you'll end up dead. Which I guess it's a bummer...

what type of abs module is it? 4 ports or 6 ports?

It's a 6 port one vw part would you believe.. its got 2 in and 4 out... I belive it's piped like this. From where plug on module (bulkhead end) is as 1 front left then 2 rear left then 3 front right then 4 rear right. Wireing side is all done and tested on vag com. Am I right that I don't run a load valve repipeing all pipes....

Reson for abs is I had a audi pull out on me at 50mph and killed the last felicia was pinkskuds old pink one

Is it a teves mk20 unit? If so its has 2 ports for flow and return to the master cylinder, then from the bulkhead plug, left front, right rear, left rear, right front

I can give you the part number tom I know it's a ate pump 6N0 907 379 B

Yeah, that will be the same as my above post, front left, rear right, rear left, front right from the bulkhead plug coming forwards.

Looks like I got to change the pipes around what a..... thanks for you help tom your the man.. another one how can I fix the pipes back as some clips broke and can't get new clips from tps....

Is this the same for everyone else?

I know I used to be able to see it, I thought I'd saved it, but I can no longer view it.

Obviously describing which wheel as left or right could be confused, as to which way you are looking at the vehicle i.e from the front or from behind, I know general practice is to describe left and right as if you are sat in drivers seat, but I want to make sure.

I'm getting that for all the images.

The protocol is you view the car from the back looking forward to the front of the car hence right hand drive for us in the UK. If post number 11 is the one from 9 June 2015 from RicardoM then as he was a professional mechanic I'd guess he'd used that protocol.

If the image had been flipped is a different matter, I notice on some images from phones this seems to be the case as say writing on a t-shirt is mirror-image, such are the mysteries of computers to me.

He deleted in purpose the majority of his images from the Image Hoster (Imgur) so no one here can see them now.

He did it as an act of ''revenge'' because many (including me) had problem with his attitude, he could have them as Attachments no matter ih he was not posting but he upload them via Imgur so he could delete them from his account at any time.

To be fair you can't know this for sure, you may be correct with this or you may not and anyway if he no longer wanted to have a link from this site to the images that is up to him.

Imgur gives you 2 options: delete from Post and delete from Account,if you choose the second your image is deleted (you have seen above how it looks like) from all the forums that you have post it.

I had never heard of Imgur until now but going to their site it has. -

Yes.

I'll confirm that the port arrangements listed in post #9 are as if sat in drivers seat. Found an old pic showing the rear most port's pipe going to front left.

His pictures are deleted at February 2024, everything was fine with Imgur at that time.
