Watching one of the reviews on the Octavia Scout on youtube, they said the scout actually handled better than many of the cars in the range as it had a better rear suspension setup, but they didn't say what that was.

 

Anyone know what suspension the Scout has on the rear? (multi-link?)

Yep, Scout gets multi-link, the same as the vRS and 1.8TSi

And the 4x4.

All Mk3 4x4's Scout or otherwise have multilink rear axle as its the only way the rear diff can be accomodated...cant be done with the beam axle.
