Hampshire Greenlane Day

Featured Replies

Anyone on here fancy a day doing a bunch of short and easy Hampshire Greenlanes? I've done a handful so far round the Basingstoke area (All BOATs and checked on the Council site) and have had great fun having never tried it before. I thought it might be fun to get a handful of Yetis (is that the correct plural?) and have a day out adventuring and maybe a picnic!

Well that's a threesome then. :)

I'll search a few more lanes that novice/yeti suitable so we have a good few hours of driving with some varied lanes.

I wonder who will NOT be in the middle...

This is the site I've been using http://www.moderndayexplorers.net/ along with checking on the council site they are still BOATs and UCRs.

My idea is to pick a bunch of the lanes round Basingstoke and Newbury and link them together with a nice road route.

I have been perusing this site recently looking at trails.

Be VERY wary of that site!!

I've looked at 12 different routes around here and only ONE of them legally has vehicular access!!

Several that I do know of are NOT shown.

Yeah, why not.

I'm up for a day out.

I just hope it's not on one of my working weekends.

Any idea of a date yet?

For the record, it's a 'flurry' of Yeti.  Well documented, way back into the early days.  Google briskoda.net flurry

Have fun!

Are you not going to join us Brijo?

Well, I'm not saying 'No', but we're somewhere else rather a lot during the next few months
