fabia blueline anyone

Featured Replies

Cant seem to find any of these for sale, is it same as the reaction model they brought out later, daughter likes white roof

Fabia Reaction is a MK2 Fabia Face lift model less than 2 years old.

Is a Blueline not a Pre Face Lift Fabia from around 2008 /9 ?

What about finding the colour see really likes,

with the engine you want and & at the best price,

then just have the roof wrapped or painted in white for about £100 - £200?

As George says...easy to have wrapped and removable when she changes her mind (only a matter of time if she's like my 20yr old daughter)

Yeah that's one around 2008 model

Thought about wrap on roof but unsure how insurance company see,  it I be frightened in case took paint off.

But she had mentioned getting it wrapped.

Been to see a few fabias even polos, say fsh on advert but that can mean anything.

All them never had cambelt changed, which for me is a must if its due,

yeah she wants white, black wheels,

she was looking at greenline but some really high miles, then the insurance group goes up.

a lot catergory c and d , but told her no.

She probably buy a car that's been to moon and back aslong as white, black roof and wheels black, like monte.

Too many red ones atm,

It like when you looking nothing there and when you got one plenty about

I

The wife had a MKII Favbia Blueline, a 2009 plate.

All the blue lines were dark blue with a white roof with white wing mirror covers

she wants all your wifes old car lol

cant see any though

Would your Daughter not consider a Kia Picanto or Hyundai i10 / i20 ?

Possibly Discs all round, plenty air bags, maybe a leather steering wheel and some trim.

Drives like the good points of an Original Mini, reliable and service parts are cheap and you should be able to find good ones.

or,

A Suzuki Swift,  same as above, might appeal more to her.

I don't think she likes them, never liked montes till I mentioned skoda.

she has mentioned suziki swift if just buying a run around for time being,

but I liked skoda as insurance group low.

she has a toddler so needs to fit a pushchair, I think i10 be too small.

I really really liked citigo as not bad size boot, ut she said she didn't really like it

with being 22 and first car, half her friends have new cars on pcp like a3s etc , way high for insurance and too much

I said your first car you probably kerb wheels odd scratch here etc, mums boring lol

may have to check suziki swift and see insurance

thanks

You wont take the paint off, just get a really good company to do it. Not a cheap one that scratches your paint when cutting the wrap with a blade, uses cheap glue etc etc.

Get what you pay for

Painting a roof of a car in an alternative / contrasting colour should not be a chargeable 'Modification' by any Insurance company

but you can inform them.

It is not making the car more at risk of theft because the roof is a different colour, and any repair costs will be no greater if there was a claim

and the roof needed repair and painted.

No need to do a 'Change of Details'  Colour change for the DVLA to change the V5 because the main and predominant colour is still the same.

I know how insurance companies can be they may say car looks more attractive to steal as makes its more trendy looking than the basic

I want to keep car as standard as possible

That is how Telephone Call Centre Staff can be / Brokers.

Underwriters of the Insurance might have that rules, but when you check it is highly unlikely.

Lots of good specialist Insurance Companies on this Forum,

and they know about modifications.

You can change the colour of your wheels as well.

Old joke,

how do you double the value of a Skoda?  Fill the fuel tank.

A white roof will not increase the value or the desirability to car thieves, only to your Daughter maybe.

(& birds poo is less noticeable.) & it reflects the sun better.

I know where youre coming from though mate.

It wasnt long ago i read a thread on here about window tinting and extortionate premiums.

Maybe ring the insurance and query it.
