Hey there peeps. Looking to decat with full 3" exhaust set up. I don't want it stupid load. My exhaust bloke said I don't need any boxes fitted as its a turbo is this true.

Im guessing you meant stupid LOUD ? You can have a straight pipe but you will want to keep the original DPF shell and get it gutted because otherwise it will fail visual inspection. 

 

shouldn't be too loud dirty d's never are.

I eventually came to the realisation that my (diesel) Ibiza was stupid loud with no cat and no silencers. was fun at first though

Ahh i spy i just assumed it was for a diesel because no one ever has issues or even concerns when changing a petrol exhaust :) 

 

get a electronic butterfly valve :D

Was looking to buy a decat off line and then have the rest made. My bloke told me that it's not much louder than stock

I would expect a decatted full turbo back system with no boxes to be very loud.

I'd imagine you'd want at least a rear box, maybe a centre as well. Especially if it's a daily driver.

That's what I thought tbh

Id expect it to be on the loud side too!

Shouldnt be loud unless its got the power too ;)
