18 Neptunes on non-VRS Octy FL

Featured Replies

They will fit exactly the same as they do on the VRS.. the only difference in the hubs/ suspension set up on the VRS is they are 5mm lower than yours and the brakes are bigger.

yes they fit

They'll be 15mm closer to the outside of the mudguard & 23mm closer to the strut.

I've just gone to that size rim and with the standard size 225/40r18 tyre it looks a bit "lost" under the guards.  If you have to buy tyres then think about 235/40r18 or 215/45r18 as it has a bit more diameter

"A bit lost" - you mean the tyre is so thin?

Yes.

I know the overall diameter (about 640mm) is no different between the various rim diameters but visually they don't seem to fill the guard.  I'll admit for the last 100,000km I've been running approx 660mm diameter tyres so I've gotten used to the guards being filled up
