East Sussex (Brighton & Hove) area meet?

Featured Replies

Gauging interest at the moment, anyone up for an East Sussex area meet?? I did organise one a few years ago and a few people showed up

Just wondered if anyone would like to meet up again??

Any suggestions on location???

I think location best to left to you guys that know the area well? I'd be up for it dependent on timing

I'd be up for one.

We moved to East Sussex last May so sounds good.

I'd be up for coming out again - 'bout time we did

We're quite sparsely located though, so were a select few.  Last time we had chish and fips on the sea front at Rottingdean, having pootled down from Pease Pottage.

I've just looked and the 'centre' of East Sussex looks to be around Punnetts Town (just east of Heathfield).  Not much around there though, so maybe not the best of ideas.

I'm happy to travel anywhere.  Just thinking out loud about places, Devil's Dyke, Beachy Head, Hastings (Rock a Nore or maybe Fairlight), or inland, somewhere near Uckfield, Heathfield or Battle?

Just a suggestion, but if it's a nice day, the Cricketers at Berwick serves nice grub, proper beer and has a reasonable grassy overflow car park (not ideal for any 'slammed' cars) - could meet at the Arlington reservoir car park which is probably just over a mile away.

Me and two friends from work would be up for this.we all live in Eastbourne

I would be up for a local meet!

Anywhere along the coast would be great for a summer meet, but this time of year, we will all koan at the breeze and rain that'll most likely happen! :)

I'm in Hastings, but travel all over Sussex, so I'm happy to meet at most places.

When you guys meet up, do you bring your kids along if you've got them? Or is a lads meet up and go for a spirited drive kinda thing?

If I'm down in London as I usually am, how about beachy head, and then bechy head pub for some food and then a photoshoot in the valley.

Sounds good to me.

Are we going to wait till spring or have a winter meet?

I'd say spring as it's bloody cold there atm!

Gives us more time to get this as big as possible then. Beachy head sounds spot on as there's afew big car parks up there

I'm game on for a Beachy head meet!

Will make sure I've got the weekend off work for a big meet up!

This will also give me time to get some mods done to the car :D:)
