Colour scheme sounds good with these wheels. I guess you could use plasti dip to see what it looks like

So I now have my new alloys, needs a bit of work, so the next project is to refurb them for less that £40 (the alloys only cost £110 for all four with tyres) so £150 all in?

 

My idea was to use these as my winters and get rid of the Trinity alloys (as they are too common :p )

New grill badge, jury's still out on this one!

New rims and tyres fitted, Oz's ready to be refurbed ready for the 2017 show season, when hopefully everything else that's planned for the Fabia will happen.

 

Having had the rims on for less than 24 hours, they're not wowing me as much as the OZ's, Hmm dilemma.

We tried it with two of them, before I went ahead, but they looked way too chavy and looked like I crashed backwards through Halfords.

I know what you mean. looks like the OZ's are going back on and these are either going into the back of the garage (with the other sets of alloys) or soon to be seen in the classifieds.

Spotted your car at Lincoln Sainsbury's this afternoon -it certainly is very green! Like the Hydra badges.

Could be brighter, just noticed how filthy she is. Should look even better if I get the number plate I'm after, HYD 2A.

so here's the next part of the saga, brake upgrade time, on the front we have 330mm discs, Lambo 4 pot Brembo's and HEL braided hosed. The rear is getting a disc upgrade, standard size at the minute, until I find an upgraded MK1 Octy kit (if it works?)

 

 

Mk1 octavia kit is fine, might be worth looking into the rear 288 upgrade a few members have done though to match the fronts

Thanks, I'm rather attached to my nackers, so this was the only real option

The rear calipers are with BCS in Nottingham have the same colour as the front.

Hmm don't think so, haven't got the 'run fat boy run shorts'

 

But I might bring the nice new calipers to show off, the car goes in on the 19 May to have the brakes done, the rears will be back by then, freshly painted

Hahaha just twigged what you meant! Defo meant the calliper not your knackers!

So the next installment has happened  think I could have gone a bit bigger  but she's on the OZ's which are 5mm offset bigger than the Trinity's and 15mm spacer, can't go any wider without surgery on the arch :( maybe later?

Have just taken a few pics, include hel braided hoses, the discs and pads have plenty of life in them
