Guess it's meant to be in normal eye line and not a down look distraction.

I wonder if the centre console screen is retractable like it is on current A6's?

 

The LCD instrument panel is a seriously neat bit of kit, but will no doubt be a costly option.

 

Nice also to see that V6's will be offered. A 272hp quattro avant (though costly) would seem to be a nice way to travel!

How long are Audi & the other Volkswagen Group Manufacturers going to keep being able to import big engine Diesels into the UK 

and even sell them in Europe?

 

Surely their days are numbered no matter how they make the Emissions look.

They build cars / estates that are perfectly suitable for Business Users that only need to travel around the UK with a max of 200 ps, unless they are required to tow, or carry more than 6 people.

Audi do rather nice Ultras with the looks, and they are more than capable of keeping up with Modern Traffic at UK NSL's.

So it can me removed without major modifications to the dash for the cheapskates that won't pay for it?

 

I hate fingerprints on glass so a big smudge covered screen staring me in the face every journey doesn't appeal.

 

Just looks like the perfect thing to catch the strap of SWMBOs hand bag and get ripped off.

The sit on the dash Nav unit is the same idea as on the Merc A class.   Looks rather stealable, doesn't it?

Yes detailed an Rs3 and that had the same, and what will happen in ten years time when it wont rise from the dash

It will cost more than the car

In 2025 it will be the classic Euro 6 Emission RS3. 

£40,000 divided by 10 = £4,000 a Year.  (and it will still have value then, so less.)

& just Servicing, Maintenance, Fuel & Insurance costs over and above.

 

Buying one as a keepers seems like a good idea when looked at that way!

I thought this was the 2015 RS3 thread.

My bad sorry, i have Audi confusion going on and losing it trying to find £4,000 down the back of other peoples sofas.

Then i remembered it was £40,000 i needed to find.

I must be the only person that thinks the Audi A4 Avant is a lovely looking car, externally and internally.

 

Clean lines, nice wheel, smart interior.

 

Might look the same as previous versions (or close to it), but why change a winning formula?

 

They look classy in a sector where they need to.
