Key fob window control

Featured Replies

Hi,

Is it possible to remotely drop all windows in an Octavia with the key fob + remotely shut them?

Yes, hold the lock/unlock buttons on the keyfob. I don't remember if you have to activate something from the menu before.

Hmm no cigar, I'll fiddle with the menu a bit later.

Press and hold for several seconds - it works on my Scout anyway.

There's settings in the car setup menu.

You can either have it open/close all windows or just the drivers window.

Car/setup/opening and closing. It's in there.

Just remember if you open all windows before getting in the car, it will relock after 30 seconds if you don't open the doors and will enable all the internal sensors.  So, don't stand in the car park nattering then thrown your packed lunch box through the open will or you will look a **** !

Double click of the lock button will lock the car but, disarm the internal sensors.

Thanks Mardu! Something else I've found out, 10 months in to ownership.

Was disabled in menu, all sorted now, ta

Double clicking does not disarm sensors it removed deadlock on doors to disable sensors the button has to be pressed on drivers bottom door card

If you have KESSY the windows can all be closed by keeping your hand over the sensor on the door for same length of time as you would with the keyfob.
