Help! Which size do I go for? Looking at grabbing one from Halfords

Ive looked at the dimensions of the car but Halfords are useless in terms of giving you measurements, it's either work it out in metres or CM and I haven't got the brain capable of working it out :D I need one before tomorrow evening as I plan to wash the car in preparation for a car meet on Sunday but its due to **** it down Friday evening and I'm working Saturday so cleaning it Saturday isn't a option

Unless I've misunderstood....you want a car cover suitable for a Citigo? It has to be "SMALL", doesn't it? The outer bag even says "suitable for most small hatchbacks"....

Indeed it has to be small, but the dimensions don't add up, I was look at a medium one earlier, max height was 119cm but the citigo is something like 149cm

Should fit in here Hyphons

You did say it needed to be small

Citigo IS 149cm....but that's the height from the ground - car covers don't go right down to the ground.

Some do ;)

Some do ;)

These obviously don't.

Why would you want a car cover? For scratching the paint? :-)

I have heard they scratch the paint, I would probably use it once or twice a year and that's it

Horrible moisture traps.

Breathable one? If outside it'll just leave water marks underneath :/ had it when stag was outside under cover

So should I just say **** it and clean it twice? :D

IMO yes as it'll just leave the car covered in water marks if it's anything like ones I've had.

There's a thread somewhere else about polish and one of the the items mentione was Sonax Xtreme Detailer and on the basis of what was said I bought some. I use it every 3rd wash or so and in between a hose off, squegee and quick wipe over takes no more than a couple of minutes

Used on on my fabia when it was out of use for a few months. Yes it does trap moisture underneath but I waxed the car before it went under it and any water marks rinsed off.

Why did I get it for mine? I live under the flight path so a fair bit of pollution drops out of the sky, plus bird poo!! It's fine if I'm there to wash it off but when I've been away for longer periods it safe damage from it.

As for what you want it for I'd probably suggest as above, a good wax and quick detail once you get to the meet. As it will get dirty on the way.
