As many else we have a Fabia II with the Dance radio. For some time we have had problems receiving radio. One time we were driving in the city centre of Berlin and was not able to pick up any stations.

Found description to get access to the service menu (hold menu button for several seconds), and could see that the regional/nationwide stations keeps having low signal with poor or mono quality.

To start with, I am thinking about changing the antenna which would be a cheaper choice rather than changing the whole head unit. However an original SKU is double the price over a universal antenna. And here comes the question, it seems that many antenna are sold as 16V antenna. I am not a mechanic, but I guess this is some type of anteanna. Is the Fabia II (2009 model) antenna a 16V?
