I used this app the other day and it worked a treat. Highly recommended.

Its just a shame it doesn't have some more of the advanced settings like steering weight and xds otherwise it would be an immense app.

So basically it's for the people who don't have Vagcom/VCDS?

I struggled to find someone near me with vag com/VCDS so tried this instead.

basically it's doing the same thing for hell of a lot less....VAGCOOM might have a few extras that i'm not aware of mind, but more popular bits like the above it's blooming good idea.

I might look in to getting the kit that does the auto lights.

Also can you have it where the left mirror drops when in reverse

It doesn't have that feature I wish it did to keep an eye on the rear alloy

Been wanting to use this on my Monte but can't find a OBD2 device that Carista supports. Thinking of getting this one as some googling found an Audi forum with people that said this one worked well. What OBD2 device do you use?

Mine is one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DYOVXZ0

Worked perfectly. Just trying to figure out if coming home lights are possible... The "manual flick of high beams " wording has got my hopes up.

Great find OP

Just be aware one of those links is for Bluetooth, the one below is wifi version for iPhones

Good app tho

Yeah the one I linked is a Bluetooth adapter, that doesn't work with iPhones. The WiFi one should work with both though

I tried the going home lights but it didn't work on my 2013 Monte. No amount of flicking the headlights worked.

Got the other stuff done though, minus the mirror dip, which I would really like!
