I really hate insurance companies. Captive market able to charge whatever they want due to it being the law to need it.

I went through Chris Knott, and they said they would beat any quote for the same cover. They did. I am now with them

Yes because if it wasn't mandatory then the insurance companies would be in competition so the prices wouldn't be extortionate, most of you won't understand but i started driving at a young age and iv been at the brunt of high prices for the last 6 years.

Did you start driving on the road before others at 16 or 17?

That only in the past 10 years or so have young people being really targeted by insurance companies and most of you on here are old. Not saying I'm the only one so jump of your high horse.

Insurance companies are in competition though - as has been proved in an earlier post. There's no cartel in place either.
