Very nice indeed - looking forward to your updates on this.....

Making a 90" coilie look small, since yesterday! ;)

Very nice, I always wanted the R but had to stick with the GTD for work mileage.

Very nice! Think they look great in white. Enjoy it mate!

Glad your pick-up day went well and the drive out

Enjoy the Drive, you are in a great location for exploiting its qualities.

Nice photo.

My poor old defender gets neglected really but it is such a steady, reliable workhorse and great if the weather comes in.

Thanks for all the positive replies.

Hopefully Mr Utopia will take some nice pics for his portfolio when it is fully detailed this weekend (weather permitting). Hope mentioning names is not against any rules? If so please amend :)

Welcome to the club :)

Are you on VWROC?

Yummy!! :D

Ben, is that the pure white?

IMHO I think those (Cadiz - or any diamond cut) wheels don't do it justice. The Pretoria ones look a lot better but appreciate that you probably didn't have the option available to you.

Wheels are a very personal choice, and I don't mind the Prets, but they're are a lot of R owners who don't like them and prefer the Cadiz.

Guess that's why they offer both :)

Looks great

Thanks for sharing

Ben,

What tyres are fitted on yours?

Mine is fitted with Conti 2.

It is pure white.

I really like the standard Cadiz 18's, not sure I would opt for the 19"s if I had the choice anyway. Think the ride is about right and the pot holes down here would potentially wreck them.

They are "Bridgestone" potenza's, not sure on actual model but think it is S001. No idea on what they are like in general but ironically had Potenza's on my ST and they had dammed good grip.

Time will tell :)

I've driven both on local roads when I original test drove and for me the 18" rides better. The Cadiz do get better on the eye over time and they clean easily with the open structure and come up well.

Conti 2 grip well, wet or dry and noise levels acceptable to me. Currently on 10500 miles with 4mm depth all round at 10k service.

Be careful in the wet with Potenzas

They are prone to aqua planing, but good grip in the dry

Nice!

Enjoy it, im sure you will (:

Mates got a mini GP with potenzas on. Gotta say, even in the damp they seem brill. Grip well.

You have a pm Ben :)

And what a lovely car again!    Having now been as close and personal as one can get (without bordering on being a deviant :D)

Thanks Jas, great day out by the seaside :)

It rained heavy showers from Trago mills back to Plymouth :(

Managed a few shots on the moors when the sun came back out. In the background is Brentor Church on the little pimple bit, which is seen for miles around.
