New roomsters scout :)

Featured Replies

Hi Hutch.  Welcome to Briskoda and to Roomster ownership.

My previous Roomster was a Scout in Anthracite.  Earlier this year, I had to swap it for Roomster with DSG due to an old knee injury.  Sadly, used Scouts with DSG are as rare as hen's teeth - which is why I now have an SE.

Although my SE comes close, I still consider my Scout the best car I have ever owned.  Enjoy yours!

Rob

Nice looking car, very smart in black too. I got the SE earlier this year and love it to bits, mines the 1.2tsi engine and its great.

Hi guys!

Mines is the 1.6tdi which suits me as I do a lot of long distance miles.

I was deciding between 2 SE's and the scout but in the end the colour, wheels and bumpers sold it to me, how vain!

Love it!

No vanity - you pays your money, you takes your choice!

In addition to the Scout's nicer wheels and bumpers, I found the seats more comfortable too.

My only real gripe is the lack of glass roof and Bluetooth, these are just luxuries I guess though.

All we need now is a photo of your pride and joy. In some ways I wish that I had gone for a second hand 1.6tdi too.

Welcome to the fold Hutch.

Depending on your current stereo setup you may be able to retrofit Bluetooth without too much bother.

Very beautiful car.
