On the DSG type of cars are a few switches for the esp, fornt and rear sensors if fitted and on mine parking assist. There are a couple of spare slots and i have a cunning plan!

On my previous car a Volvo V50 which electric wise was none too reliable, had a battery monitor on it. Planning to fit one to the Superb and poke the led through one of the spare switch spots.The little kit I have bought gives an indication if the battery is charging. I need to pick up a switched live so one of the switches will do, and obviously earth the other lead. Using a Velleman kit from CPC for this which is only just over a £5.00.

 

So, without damaging the panel, how do I remove the gear box surround so I can do this please?
