Ordered my vRS at the back-end of April and been waiting patiently, was meant to be this week, but there was apparently a part shortage ( dont know what part ? ) and had a two week delay...

 

It's on a boat ( no idea what one so cant check the marine tracker ) into the UK, expected to be here next week, by the time it gets it's check at the port, onto a transporter, up to Scotland, then getting it's PDI, it should be the week after next...

 

It's been a long and painful wait but can finally see the little glimmer that will be the light at the end of the tunnel

I also ordered a VRS Estate end of April. My dealer (also in Scotland) reckons sometime this week or the next but it has been at a status of "in transit" since 10th of July.

Where abouts are you picking it up from? Mine is going to Ayr.

Arnold Clark Seat/Skoda in Linwood... mine was in the paintshop last week when he checked, and this week he says it's on the boat...I was originally told this week because he had a new vRS in that had been ordered two weeks before mine, so going by the build week, it was expected this week, but I believe that the other car, and then my car, sat on either side of the MY16 change, so his was MY15 and the parts issue has been with MY16... i've not ordered anything unusual, just amundsen, front parking sensors and colour maxi-dot, so would really be guessing what the delay is...
