That's gutting to have happen on any car, let alone one so new. Hope you manage to get it fixed asap, especially as you rely on it for a living.

At least you were not hurt in the incident, these thing happen

Hope everything is ok with you and your car gets all the loving care she needs to get back on the road

patched it up for work monday, got broker on the case, garage said assessors rarely want to visit cars now, hes got the pics

into every life a little rain must fall

Sorry to hear.

Get it professionally fixed up, and then forget it ever happened!

At least it's not structural damage, if it was then often psychologically you think the car never feels the same again.

It looked as thought the bonnet has escaped unscathed, but you say not?

It's all cosmetic, she'll be back to new in no time.

I know the feeling! At least it's all fairly superficial. Hard to avoid at some point given your line of work! I had damage on that side myself recently. Wasn't my fault but still a pain in the *****. Just check that all the repair work is 100% accurate especially in the areas that are not always visible to the eye. I had to go back a second time as spray job wasn't exactly right on the inside area and I'm still missing an L&K badge. Once it's fixed though you can forget it happened.

Nice quick repair job there! From the recording it Looks like a really awkward junction with that bend as well.

Its nasty cos there are 2 lanes coming from the left, 1 is a right turn into the road where I was, the other side of that is the straight on lane, cars turning right give way, i was more wary of cars coming past them than from my right towards me....

Q. Can an insurance company specifically restrict repairs to their own "approved repairers"?

I know that i wont see the car for 3 weeks if it gets carted off, with a headlamp+foglamp its useable and we go to spain on the 14th

No. The choice remains with you, but, if you take a non approved repairer you may lose out on other "benefits" such as loan car.

Good luck. My wife just reversed my white FL Superb into a post. Bumper damage. Repair tomorrow. Bugger again!

I wont get a "normal" loan car cos it was my fault, but i have a taxi loan car "at fault" policy, assuming the robbers at the insurance cough up
