Impending new owner here. I'm from the Central Belt, in West Lothian, Scotland.

I pressed the 'go' button on a new Octavia vRS Estate TDI DSG last week. Been confirmed to take delivery by the end of September/beginning October. Finger crossed!

Here are the options boxes I ticked:

- Quartz Grey Metallic

- 18" Gemini Anthracite wheels

- Black Pack

- Heated windscreen

- Heated washer nozzles

- Heated front seats

- Sunset glass

- Colour onboard computer

- Spare wheel

- Variable boot floor

I've owned a few cars from the VAG stable, mainly Golf's. The Octavia is replacing my outgoing VW Golf Edition 30.

Anyway, look forward to tapping in to your knowledge of all things Skoda.

yeah they're not allowed to sell new cars through Uphall any more. I ordered mine from DUnfermline but it was handed over in Uphall. Much handier.

Didn't know they couldn't sell new cars in Uphall. I only went to Sighthill as they had a used vRS estate on the forecourt that I could have a play about in.

We must be fairly local to one and other. I'm in Armadale.

Council guidelines, some state taxis must be a certain colour, generally white or black. Not all councils tho!
