A few pictures of my SE L Exec EST for those who are interested. 

 

The Boot with the cover pulled back.

This car has the variable boot floor option.  Here it is with it in the down position. While it is up you have a space between the two floors of about 8cm to hide laptops etc out of sight.

 

 

The floor also folds.

 

 

There are hooks left and right for shopping, the optional seat back releases and the torch on the left.

 

 

The torch is removable and is magnetic.  It acts as the boot light and is recharged when it is in its holder.

There are two cubbyholes left and right.  The one on the right has a strap for a first aid kit (not included)

 

 

The right hand side also contains the two velcro box holders.

 

 

There is also space under the sill for a warning triangle, again not included.

 

 

The two cubbyhole doors are removable as is the floor from the left hand side which leaves you with some strange cutouts which just happen to fit.........

 

 

The boot cover!  Here is another picture with the bits back in place. (It could of course have been hidden under the floor if I'd remembered to put it back in the raised position!)

 

 

Underneath the lower floor is either the space saver or some storage depending on options.

 

 

Also shown here is the 'Boot Net Program". The left or right net can also be strung across the back rest.

 

 

There is a LOT of space back here.  This golf bag will not fit in a BMW 3 or 5 series with the driver in the bag.  Although I have removed both cubbyhole doors here It would fit with the RH one back in place.

 

 

Lastly with the seats folded forward.

 

 

Next, interior.

Thanks that was good - but you left me on a cliffhanger - 'I'll just show you the foot to open boot' end of video

It's on a separate video which needs re shooting.

 

Basically I have seen a few reviews where the reviewer has failed to get it to work as they continually wave their foot under the bumper.  If you just move your foot under and back out the boot opens after about a 1 second delay.  Once you know the trick it works every time.

Great pictures and video! Can I ask, when you took delivery where was the boot net program stored and where was the looking wheel nut stored?

Delivery was on the 25th.  The nets were either under the lower boot floor or in the LH cubbyhole (can't remember exactly).

 

The locking wheel nut is  top left under the boot floor - 14th picture above.

Would love the L&K if only they did it with a black leather option!!

Anyone got any night time shots of the interior illumination (dashboard/rear console etc.) Plus anyone with the LED ambient lighting.

It's a shame you can't shut it using the same method, your just as likely to have your hands full taking stuff out as putting it in so don't know why they made it opening only?

Good stuff - and one of the first Apple watches I've seen - is there an App for that to do cool car-related stuff?
