hello mk3 chaps

 

.. as per the title, just ordered a mk3 vRS wagon in meteor grey, manual TSI with a few options:

 

Rear side airbags (PE4)

Sunset glass from B pillar back (PH7)

Temporary space saver spare wheel (PJC)

Black design package (PLK)

Columbus sat nav with European maps and colour Maxi DOT computer (PNE)

Heated front seats (PW0)

Heated washer nozzles, front (9T1)

Crew Protection Assistant (7W1)

 

This'll be my first mk3 but my third octavia vRS, i've had two candy white TSI Mk2s.  Both of those had some mods, suspension, wheels, brakes etc

I don't have so much spare dosh for mods these days but if funds allow i'd like H&R monotubes and some light 19"s in black..  Quick photoshop of what i want to achieve:

Nice one Rob...have always followed your OEM+ mod threads on your previous Mk2's with interest.

Good call on Meteor Grey too...like yourself have had a few Candy white Skodas in succession and I just cant bear cleaning white cars anymore....grey should hide the dirt a bit better :-)

I liked what you had done to the others, but not a fan of the undercoat colour Meteor , I suppose its  a Marmite colour

Thanks chaps - yep, its a marmite colour, that's why i like it.  

 

hang on..  brown...   hmmm :think:  would match my vw.

Love the meteor grey, I went for race blue but that was defo the alternative! This car looks stunning good luck!

I have just done the same: ordered a vrs Meteor grey mk3 estate, but went for diesel. The salesman guy called it bat**** colour, but I quite like it. How long on the estimate for hours mate?

I have had my meteor vRS for 2 months now and everywhere I go I get comments on the colour. Most good but some negative. The nicest negative comment about it was that the colour is a 'very personal choise' Also the standing comment amongst my colleagues is the classic 'when's it going back for the top coat?' If I had a pound.... I love it and it isn't a common colour around here. Enjoy!
