Anyone experienced an annoying vibration coming from the front of the car (seems to be behind the dash) at about 1300 - 1400 rpm?

Car is a 2014 Superb Elegance 2.0 TDi CR 4x4 Elegance (170bhp) DSG.

Do they all do this?

The two sources of noise from the front that are well documented on here are the heat shield (If it's a metallic rattle) and the air box. Search for these and you'll hopefully have your answer.

also (and this is what I had) you can check the brake fluid -> clutch pipe. it runs under the battery, so you have to take out the airbox to get at it, but there is a metal section of it that can rattle against the bottom of the battery tray.
