Your right. I have a 2015 Superb Mk 3   est  and have just replaced the wipers with Bosch.  Far Far better.  I think the OE pones are just as as cheap as Skoda can get away with

Very common issue with the screen washers.  Many of us have had to get them adjusted.  Dealer should sort for you no problem

I'll try the dealer next time I'm in town, I take it it doesn't matter that I bought the car online.

 

I have a 2016 SEL.  The washers are rubbish on that even after two different dealers have "adjusted" them.  Also  worth replacing the wipers for decent ones, (I've  put Boasch on) as the OE one aren't all that

Wiper blades are fine, its the washer nozzles which are poor.

66-reg Skoda Superb Sportline TSI 220 DSG

I've spent a week with my new Sportline. Very nice. I went for a drive in the rain this afternoon to learn how to use the adaptive cruise control. Very nice. Maybe too relaxing, dunno. I've never used cruise control before - I was using the wrong control to increase the speed, but otherwise it was pretty straight forward. I was listening the Steve Earle's Guitar Town. That Canton sound system plays LOUD! And no distortion. Very nice. I increased the lumbar support in the seat, raised it a bit higher, set the preference. Even turned the heating on low. Very nice. I haven't honked the horn yet. I'm waiting for someplace where it won't be impolite. If I have to use it in an emergency, it had better be that big thing in the centre of the steering wheel!

 

I'm still finding my way around the cabin. It was so much more simple in the Brera. I've got all sorts of places to stash stuff now. Organisational decisions. Hmmm...

 

I like the central armrest up a couple of clicks, maybe three. Except when you leave the car, you can see into the cubby beneath, so I have to remember to raise it up to close it. A minor nuisance. I finally figured out that you have to turn the mirror knob to the passenger's side when you are reversing to get the passenger mirror to drop. It does make parking easier when you can see the curb. Very nice.

 

I bought a litre of Castrol Edge Professional (£20) because the oil was barely reading on the dipstick. When I went to top up the level, I must have parked on the other side of the street, because the oil level was right up to the top. Do you think I can find anyplace level besides the centre of the road? There was no level spot in Halford's car park! Forget drainage! Give me a level spot to check my oil!

 

All in all, I'm a happy boy.

 

 

 

2.0 TSI L&K from Bedford owned now for one year 17,000 miles petrol blue. So far runs well, 35 mpg average since new. Only problem tyre ripped up by pothole, no damage to wheel, thanks central beds for not fixing roads.

66 Reg Superb 190 4x4 DSG SE L Executive estate. It's the second one I've had.  We'll sort of as my previous one was the facelifted mark 2 but same spec.

This car is a dream to drive compared to the mark 2.  It's so much more refined. The ACC is amazing and when driving in the fog the front facing radar saw cars ahead before I did!  I've tested it from 60 mph to a complete stop also (while covering the brakes of course!!) and it performed flawlessly and then moved off again when the car ahead did. 

I tow a caravan with mine so have had the integrated towbar factory fitted. Better than the palarvour I went through last time with an after market fit .

The auto zoom on the map is a new feature for this model which is nice.

My only query is why there isn't a green light on the dash to show if your head lights are on. I run mine on Auto mode all the time.  

Experimenting with the driving modes at the moment.  Currently using the Eco mode which has a nice coasting function on it.  No idea of figured yet though for fuel consumption. 

All in all I absolutely love the car. Beautiful to look at. The best yet and a dream to drive.

I find this very frustrating too and also the fact the high beam dash light is so low, I'm used to having is at the top of the panel and sometimes forget.  Looks great BTW, always difficult to keep clean of course! 

I got my Jungle Green Style 1.6 TDI today. I can't get over what a great colour it is. My only disappointment is that CarPlay requires a cable. It was a really bad day to pick up a car, so apologies for the crap photo.

The auto zoom has been a feature of the Columbus sat nav for a number of years, I first had it on my 2009 Passat CC and also on my current FL mk2 superb.

Very nice car you have there, but it looks like you'll have your work cut out to keep it looking clean, I've had two black cars - never again.

Hello all, I'm now a 2 time Superb owner, having just said goodbye to my first superb after 2 years, it was a MKII Elegance Estate 170TDi DSG, in black (see first photo). It has been my company car for the last 2 years, and honestly its been the best car I have ever owned. Hands down, no questions, bloody brilliant! I was sad to see her go :(

 

However I am now the proud owner of a MKIII L&K Estate 150Tdi DSG in Business Grey with Beige Interior (whoooo, see second photo)

First impressions: I didn't think that it would be that much better than the MkII, but WOW OMG etc... what a car! Love it.

Yes, there is a noticeable difference.  Like you, I moved from a MKII FL, having already had a previous 170 as well and the new one is a step up in every department.  The MKII was great but the MKIII just feels more grown up and can now genuinely put itself against the premium brands.

Anyone done a back to back comparison from a sportline to an SE L. I'm thinking about a sportline but concerned that moving from an xc60 will be a big jump in ride quality/harshness. I've driven the SE L and was impressed but given lowered suspension height and larger wheels I'm concerned the ride might suffer. Any thoughts?

Collected last Monday,  Superb Hatchback, SE-L Exec 1.4tsi DSG. in Brilliant Silver.

Only had it a few days, but already it is a much smoother ride than the Octavia mk 3, missing the intelligent light assist (standard on Octavia), but the standard Columbus and ACC. make up for it.

I had better as mine to the list. SE-L executive 1.4 tsi dsg. Rear camera and spare wheel added.

Us 1.4's must run the big engines close for numbers surely?

I'm now the very happy owner of a Sportline 150 TDI hatch in Business Grey. 

 

Very pleased with the car so far but I collected it on the one day when the rain was relentless and roads were covered in crap.  I'll post some pics once it's dry enough to give the car a good clean.
