That brochure also confirms that the LHD pedals (5E1 064 205) will fit the Superb (same part number as the Octavia & Rapid) so the RHD set 5E2 064 205 will also fit.

Any idea how to fit these - kind of critical component I wouldn't want to screw up!

Looking on the SuperSkoda site they appear to just push over the metal pedals just like the std rubber ones do.

Well great service from Skodadop even though I screwed up !!  They confirmed the Mats would not fit properly and asked if I wanted a refund on them or to select something else. I chose the Pedals which were a bit more expensive and they have sent them out before I have paid them the difference !

Trouble is I managed to screw up my password so cant get back into my account :-) Hopefully they will sort this asap and I can pay them !

Speak to Andrey if you need anything. I'll update when the stuff arrives.

5) Hoping to pick one up in Germany next week if the local German dealer has it in stock or can get it in time (I'm only there for 10 days). Škoda UK say they can't be ordered in the UK. (3V5061163) ***

There is another version that is also reversible and has a 60/40 split fold to cover the folded down seats but, as it's not what I want, I didn't ask SUK if that was available in the UK... (3V5061210)

*** My dealer managed to order non-standard-option wheels listed in the German accessories brochure that aren't shown in any of the UK brochures, so I'll have a word later this week to double-check if the boot mat really cannot be ordered in the UK.

Off to Germany this weekend but I've had no response from the dealership in Magdeburg (Germany) regarding the availability of the reversible boot mat.

Unlike with the wheels I ordered, I didn't get a definitive answer from my local dealer here either.

If the Magdeburg dealership fails, I'll be paying a visit to the big Škoda Deutschland Forum in Berlin to see if I can get more information, if not the actual mat.

I will also get the velcro luggage retainers if they don't already come supplied with the car (which I very much hope they do).

At least I resolved this. The luggage retainers do come with the car.

They are generic which is why they call them Tablet Holder as opposed to iPad Holder. It slides to fit, gripping top and bottom. It will hold anything from a smartphone in portrait orientation to a tablet in portrait orientation (don't know what the actual min/max sizes are).

You've gotta figure one holder, one device!

Question is though, does the rear centre armrest hold just one tablet or two? I think it's two.

But I'll still need two each of the tablet holders and head rest mounts.

Just the one in the armrest by the looks of it:

No car for another 12+(?) weeks .... but the rate I am going I could build it myself, look what has arrived:

All legal spacings... but not necessarily in the right places  :notme:

Fantastic lol ! That wheel looks spot on ! When yours is on properly you can tell me how to do it ;-)

I have already stripped the wheel down (removed the vRS badge and the plastic trim / with the multi function buttons on) as the Superb uses an updated button to turn off the lane assist etc (I think!) instead of the voice control, I intend to use the Superb’s buttons, so effectively the only change will be the physical wheel.

So it’s simply disconnect the battery, remove airbag, remove the spline bolt swap wheel then airbag back on etc., I did my MKII and it is literally a 10 min job.

Love the plate!

I know I'm getting old but I can't see the attraction of the wheel - my dad had an Austin Allegro with a very similar one which looked great but wasn't too comfortable going round corners :D

The perforated leather wheels are slightly thicker and IMO much better feel ‘in the hand’.

Being flat bottomed... well they were actually a LOT cheaper than the round ones! and having had a TT with a FBSW I didn’t mind it at all.

Just the one in the armrest by the looks of it:

Thanks. Will still need two of each though to connect to headrests. They'll have to fight over the armrest!

If anyone finds one of the rubber mats for sale for the estate boot could you let me know please. Ideally I would like one for when I collect the car. Skodadop has the plastic one but I prefer the rubber.

The reversible one with carpet on the other side would be perfect.

Cheers

I was pleased to get one here in Germany - the rubber/textile reversible boot map. Popped into the local dealer and they were able to get it in the next day. Cost €99.90, but well worth it in my opinion.

It's larger than the load area of my Superb II so I hope it survives the return journey tomorrow without too much distortion. It is about 1" narrower but about 2" deeper.

The mat is quite rigid, so can't be rolled up or folded.

The textile side is much darker than the Superb II's lining.

The rubber side has a pronounced raised edge that should stop any leakage/spillage from overflowing the mat.

I would hope it becomes available in the UK soon, but like you I wanted it ready for use from day 1.

Would it be possible for you to measure this pls? I'm trying to get one shipped but maximum package size is 120cm x 60cm x 60cm.  Also, am I right in thinking this is for estate and hatch, the accessories brochure shows the hatch for this part? Thanks.

Currently at a hotel without a tape measure to hand.

It came in a cardboard box which I left at the dealer.

Unless it's answered by anyone else in the meantime I'll measure it when I get back home to the UK.

AFAIK it's for both. They have the same size boot.

Hope you had a good time in Germany. Have a safe trip home :)

If it fills the boot it will be about 100cmx115cm

Thanks Lawrence. I think that makes it a no go. I've found it for €64.53 with €16.98 shipping but the shipping is maximum size 120x60x60. Have asked the seller if it's possible. If so I'll post the details.
