Featured Replies

Pity your so far away. I'd be a genuine buyer. Really looking for a 2.5TDi but would take the 130. Shame. I'm in Dundee. Good luck with your sale.

Book a cheap one way flight....

It certainly wouldn’t be the 1st time, I know group1rs  just flew up to Scotland (from Kent) to collect his new project.

I caught the train from Norwich to Perth to pick up my Edition 100!  Was a lovely drive back home.  :)

Yep if a car is as spot on as this one it's worth travelling for. I flew from London City to Edinburgh for £54. The drive back in our new car was amazing.

I've had that before with someone wanting to buy an E34 BMW, they know I was serious about it being a good car I was selling when I told them if it didn't meet their standards I'd pay for their full tickets inc return

I could JPS that :)

New windscreen fitted today (my other MKI Superb also needed a new screen the last day I drove it home!!)

are the back seats fixed or can they be dropped to extend boot carry space ?

  • Author

The rear seat back do indeed fold down.

There is also an (unused) ski bag in the rear centre arm rest.

1st post updated with current mileage and extra things I have remembered.

I have a thick pile of receipts with the car plus the previous MOT’s

damn ..i'd have bought this car if it were up for sale in my country!! what a well looked after car. and a rare edition 100 badged one. whoever buys this one is sure to be all smiles.

Hi, how many owners in total and how are the tires? Also, if I were to leave a deposit, would you hold the car for a month or two (i.e until feb or even march?)

  • Author

I am the 4th owner (so 3 previous on the V5) the tyres are all legal but I would say have only about 2mm left before the wear bars, I do however have a set of Continental part worns (one is 1,000 miles old) that I will include with the car.

If a decent deposit was left then I could hold onto the car for a bit.

What's the asking price?

It's in the first post £3500

Having see this car, It IS well worth the asking price, If i didnt have the MX5 already & loved the way it drives, I would have bitten Martins hand off & taken it.

Cheers Steve

I also have the std (mint condition) springs all boxed up to naturally go with the car incase you prefer the std ride height.

I really doubt you will find a better MKI Superb out there, let alone an Edition 100!

I now have a delivery date for the new car... Monday 30th November, so the Edition 100 can go to it’s new owner as soon as this weekend.

Don’t let the rarity of a VGC Edition 100 slip through your fingers!

About time it sold

Looks a fantastic example, and glad its gone to a fellow Briskodian :)

The timing was just about perfect for me (next weekend would have been ideal, but I’m not complaining) as the L&K is due to be delivered on Monday 30th

Oh and just to add this proves that Freedom works as all 3 of my previous Superb's have sold on here.

Such a gorgeous car, grats to the new owner! If timing had been better, for me, I'd have had it.

Sold to the 1st person to view the car.

It is staying within Briskoda as well

I will let him announce the news for himself ... if he wishes, very pleased with a hassle free transaction... and a bloody nice guy as well.

Nice one a good result all round.. looking forward to seeing the new one Martin, the styling looks so much better than the current Octavia, despite the family resemblance.

Glad you sold this fabulous car.

A great buy for the purchaser and a credit to you.
