To shorten the waiting time for my new Octavia, I would like to read some tips&tricks you have found out about this model. I could not find an existing (at least pinned) thread.

Total closure is my favourite thing. Hold the unlock or lock button to open/close all the windows even the sunroof!

Also thought this feature was good. Until today.

Just found my car in pouring rain with all the windows open.

Yes I must have pressed the button in my pocket.

Not bad enought that this unlocked the car on the drive but now I have advertised the fact by opening the windows. And to top that the car will take forever to dry out till it gets warmer weather.

Not bad enought that this unlocked the car on the drive but now I have advertised the fact by opening the windows.

I recently found all the windows open on my old Focus after my four year old had been playing with the key. :-(

If you unlock the car but don't open any doors it should automatically relock itself after a few seconds. Thanks to the deadlocking it shouldn't be possible to open the doors even with the inside handle.

The may not he able to open the doors but they don't need too
