It's a schizophrenic model... could be a Dodge Arrow, Plymouth Arrow (Fire Arrow if its a 2.6), Chrysler Lancer, or even it's UK identity???

 

It is prior the Apr '78 facelift too.

I though it a bit bland compared with contemporary Celicas and certainly the preceding Colt GTO GS-R,

 

But apparently the MOPAR Funny Car drivers loved it.

Yep - that was first port of call here too - but the Gilbern (GT/Genie) with the A40 lamps is shaped more like a hunched up B-GT. The other Gilberns seem to use a selection of lights from either Mk1 Escort and whatever trailer lights were in the local hardware, on the day !

That bumper looks like it was straight off an A40 too!
