Well, having scoured all the sites I could find I went for 4 Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme tyres, 225-45-17 / 94V from Tyre Leader. Cost was a shade over £320 for four new winter tyres delivered.

 

Strangely enough, the confirmation email just came through from Reifen which pinkpanther mentioned further up as a possibility. I remember last time I ordered from them they sent the same confirmation email but I'd forgotten who the parent company were.
