I knew you'd enjoy using it! It's an Epic wax! Made mine and my dad's vRS stand out from the crowd of other waxes!

If I get chance tomorrow I'm gonna apply another coat for the meet tomorrow! :)

    Top up of Show Edition! I was going to test another wax but Ste decided to egg me on to top show with show lol! Here's the pics! The gloss levels on the vRS are getting out of hand now haha! Sen

    In the last 2 weeks I've put 2 coats of show edition on the vRS. Just given the car a quick maintenance wash and couldn't resist getting this photo. Just a wash and dry at this stage. Show edition h

I've come to the conclusion that if they look dirty and no time to clean them, after all they're based on the Skoda Fabia Rally Car... kind of eases my urges to clean it haha!

Be good to catch up tomorrow buddy after the brief meet when I picked up the paddles!

    Glad I waxed it at 10 pm last night with help from my Light sabre inspection light!  :nerd:

    Hahaha!! I cleaned mine Wednesday. I wanted to do It again this morning but doesn't look likely!

    Not detailing related as such but a it takes care of the car!

    My wonderful missus bought me a dash cam for Christmas. Didn't fancy a hard wire job so run off the cigarette lighter with an extended cable run into all the panels, up the windows etc.

    Very good bit of kit for the money too. Full WiFi to connect to my phone, 16gb memory card to record, good battery life. Lane guidance, G-shock sensors, distance control..list goes on!

    Very happy with it & makes a presence with the camera been quite big and clear through the screen!

    Do you have a link for that dash cam; a couple of the guys at work are looking for one.

    I run the Blackvue cams, but they are a bit too pricey these days.

    Lots of cheaper options with similar, if not better feature sets. or so I hear.

     

    Any decent footage recorded yet?!?  :giggle:

    Not convinced..... very happy with my collection for now; i'll follow the updates for the time being and see what is promised.

    I've completed my collection for now - adding 0102 blend and Beadology Edition.

     

    So that's me for the moment; cash going into the car fund now  :thumbup:

    As posted on the Recently cleaned Sunday after a detail on the vRS, I thought I'd review the Definitive Wax tyre dressing -

    Firstly, I'm a big meguires endurance fan. Haven't used any other besides that & frost car care onyx.

    It's safe to say, (with out pushing any other brands out, as both mentioned above are great & I'll continue to use them) - Definitive Wax is fast becoming my favourite brand.

    As with most it's a gel like formula. A blob on an applicator pad - Autoperfection Handi Puk & orange pad - spread around the tyres and just kept on spreading. Leaves a nice OEM satin finish with one coat, add a second and you get a nice gloss finish & not to in your face gloss either!

    Nice comments; and i have to agree - it does produce a nice finish with minimal fuss and no sling issues either.

    Supplied in a good bottle, nice dispenser and very simple to apply/use.

     

    If anything, my only comment, it has not proved to be as durable as some perhaps...certainly on my cars.

     

    Through summer - it was perfect.... but into winter i found it dying off quite quickly in some instances.

     

    Let me know what you think after a week or so... on the durability stakes...

    I've done around 80 miles since application and it seems to be holding well-ish providing the weather we've had.

    I'll keep an eye on it and report back! :)

    Excellent result, Karl! It's a great product. Like you said, a single coat for a nice satin "new tyre" look and the second for a glossy look. I was really impressed with the sample that Ste sent me.

    I'm really impressed with it. It's still holding up well on the vRS at the moment which is good! Glad you enjoyed the sample too!

    The Definitive Wax stuff really is impressive, Decon88 is another product I'm really happy with.
