  • I think you have it.   The height of the main beam (halogen bulb) can be adjusted seperately to the bi-xenon projector.   I can't be 100% sure on the Superb but I imagine it will be very similar t

  • When I got my car the lights were set way too low. Returned it to the dealers and they adjusted the lights to the correct angle. Mine was lighting about 50m ahead of me and no further though.

My bulb was not seated correctly in the housing, so its all good now.   Holding the bulb in flush/square while also putting the bent wire 'clip' on is really tricky. You need two small hands, and ca

Sorry it was months ago and didn't came from there as a happy customer and let them know what I'm thinking of them...there were couple others problems they didn't fix and I had to change the dealer:(

I see. I'm gonna investigate a little more :)

Yup sorry about that...don't want to open my housing its very bad weather and moisture gets inside housing:(

Dont worry! But do u think the adjustment screw is inside cover beside the H7 highbeam bulb?

That is logical explanation to this...cause outside housing there is only up/down and left/right adjustment screws...can you open the backside of housing and look inside with mirror?

Yup. I'm gonna try that on Friday if the weather is good :)

Hey...let me know if you find something. It's seems that I might have to raise my halogens a bit aswell..

I had exactly the same issue as Wavey, and it needed at least half a dozen adjustments (and a heck of a lot more expletives than that) to get it right!

Pleased you've got it sorted Matt..

Given that it took me a few times to get the bulb seated correctly have you tried taking the bulb out and reseating it? It can even look/feel fine and not be 100% seated correctly. The bulb always seemed to move slightly as I was doing up the spring clips, and of course I had to wait until dark to check it. Your high beam housing does look very similar to my pre FL so I think its worth another go!

If you take a look behind the headlight you will see a torx head pointing out back of the headlight. Another one is placed deeper and it's not visible but you will find it by touching.

The one with a easy access is for the left/right adjustment and the one not so easy to access is for the up/down.

The tool you need is a E6 torx socket 1/4".

Hard to explain because I don't know the right terms in english.

Yes... I tried many times to seat the bulb correctly! And it is 100% perfect. FL have h7 with metal base u insert turning clockwise. I assume pr fl have springs??

I've looked at erwin drawings for adjusting headlights. Just up and down and sideways for fl. U are 100% sure that fl have this torx for up and down for the highbeam only jtmattila? :)

Don't know about the FL but pre-FL has those for assistant halogen mainbeam in bi-xenon headlights. In pre-FL you can see the sideway addjustment torx head by looking behind the headlight. It's grey, about 5-7mm long. It looks just like T25 torx head. The up/down addjustment screw is deeper and you can't see it but you can feel it with your finger. It's a tight spot but with the tool mentioned earlier you don't need to see it.I'll try to take a picture.

Thank u... finish early on work today. Gonna look good after it :)

Is this the correct adjustment screw???

But I dont know what to use here.. It looks like a inverted torx or something.. Or is it a very very very little wrench? Maybe 3 og 4 mm? :)

I have theese on both headlights :)

Upper white plastic adjustment knobs is for up/down and lower white plastic knob is for left/right!

Yes, for the xenon. Not for the assistant halogen main beam. Trust me.

Look at the picture i uploaded. Trying to screw. Just get loose and then fasten again. Does not look like a adjuster :o

Take the back cover off and you will see the bulb housing. Try to look if there's any rods going backwards. Try to turn the screw you have already found. You might see the housing moving. The movement is very small and you easily turn it over. Can you find another screw from the headlight?

I don't have any experience from the FL and I did this for my MY2011 Superb just few weeks ago and I can confirm that the torx heads are for the halogen main beam addjustment in bi-xenon headlights. The white plastic 6mm allen screws are for the xenon addjustment.
