Hi,

 

I will be replacing stream with Sony WX-GT90BT. I have connects2 ctksk02 kit but i have some question with wiring. 

 

Where should i connect wires in red circle (in attached images)?

 

one is blue wire that comes with aerial.

second is three wires (purple, green and pink) from loom.

Blue in the top picture connects to the antenna remote output from the Sony radio.

 

Not sure on the other three though.

 

The Octy Mk2 does not have a switched supply behind the radio. The stream is switched on and off via canbus commands., so my guess is that these need connecting to some positions on the quadlock. Did the kit not come with instructions?.

The blue one needs to be attached to the blue (remote) cable on the headunits loom. It sends 12v to the aerial

 

The 3 dont need to be pluged into anything. They are for if you are using steering wheel controls

Since i posted the question i was googling around as well. i do not have any antenna remote output from the Sony radio, so it looks like i have to cut the loom and connect wire from aerial to it. on loom i think it is "blue/white striped"  cable as it is listed as "power antenna/ power amplifier control (REM OUT)"

 

i will be adding amplifier and sub as well so i guess wire from aerial and remote out from amp will connect to "blue/white striped" wire on loom.

 

please do correct me if i am wrong.

Are you going to be connecting them?

 

Rem out is the remote. This will be either blue or blue/white and attached to the headunits loom (not the quadlock loom you bought). This gives out a switched live signal which is what you use for the aerial and the remote on your amp

Do you mean connecting steering wheel controls? then yes i will be.

 

Its "blue/white" accrding to sony instruction page (in picture inside green area close to yellow/black wire)

Thats what you need to use for remote and 12v feed for the aerial
