The other day I bought some of the Power Maxed Rain Off Glass Sealant Link here.

Having washed my car and cleaning the glass with Autoglym Fast Glass, I applied it on Sunday and got to test it today on my way to work. It definitely works and above 30-35mph any water on the screen gets blown off. It wasn't raining so I can't comment yet what its like then. So far I am impressed though

Sounds good, I used a product from Halfords a while ago called Rain-x but it seemed to smear & make the wipers a bit juddery.

 

Might have to try this, how do you get a Trade Account? I assume you have to be trading? I'd be interested as I want to start buying cleaning products & would like to get them from the same manufacturer (easier to buy in one go & assume cheaper). But I am not a trader, any help would be appreciated.

 

Just had a brisk ride to Halfords in Eastbourne, they stock a few Power Maxed products, asked about a trade account & they did not know anything about such an account.

Some of the boys on Detailing World really rate it mate. And it fits my bill; durable, easy to apply and remove, fo the whole car in one hit and leave it on as long as you like.

I've sold my Angelwax Desireable to pay for it, but I've kind of got a plethora of waxes that me and a good mate of mine, Clarkey666 on here, share about, so at least now he has my desireable I can still use it. And of course he gets to try out the phantom wax. It's a win win situation.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on it Sean. Always great to hear another perspective on products.

Rain X has its place, but there are much better out there.

I had Angelwax H2GO and although you get a small amount it will last you years. When I ran out I swapped to Wolfs Chemicals Glass Guard thinking it will be more durable as it's 3 times the price but it isn't.

The application of Power Maxed version must be different as 500ml of H2GO would outlast me and I'd like to think I've got another 50 years in me! Maybe Chris will answer that better as he has both. But to coat a wind acreen with H2GO I would use about 5ml if that through the atomizer spray bottle.
