Awesome mate glad they got to you safely and quickly. You should have two uses per foam there mate I was really surprised with the little amount it uses. Have a play and let me know what you think.

Enjoy mate.

Cracking.... had a look on YouTube about the Hydrophobic foam - link below...

Reminds me a bit of Autobrite Top Gloss Curious; or even Purity-X through the lance.

I'll give it a go in the dilution you mention and see how it performs.....

I still not used the hydrophobic foam yet,so I'm unsure in the cleaning power of it yet, someone told me that you use the premium foam then wash etc the use the hydrophobic one after. How true that is I don't know.

Hey Sean - yes, that information you received is spot on.

Premium snowfoam first, then your usual 2BM wash routine and rinse.

Finally - the hydrophobic foam applied - leave to dwell for a few minutes...then rinse.

Forgot to get pics of this sorted when it arrived this week..... i have been searching for this one quite a while really!

My new purchases are carbon collective items

Lusso shampoo- my Zymol has nearly ran out, time to try something different.

Sateen tyre and rubber protectant- my Meguiars hot wax is nearly out time for a change.

React wheel cleaner & iron remover- my Autoglym wheel cleaner and Iron X nearly all gone.

Panel prep cleanser & platinum glass coating- I've been meaning to treat my windows with some sort of acqua repellant for a while as I really rate there platinum wheels coating.

Will report back on these ONCE this crap wet weather finally departs lol.

Gave my car a quick clean last weekend, but needs a good going over ideally, roll on spring or some dry weather :)

A few products I've taken delivery of in the last couple of weeks....a selection of shampoos and foams to try;

Nice selection of cleaning products there!! A few I use myself.

How do you find the shampoos and foams? Could you pick a favourite between them?

Thanks Karl - it has been a long battle to find this one.

Already, without even having chance to use it, i've had offers for it - unreal. :giggle:

So its worthy of joining the collection i think.... i'll use it in summer for sure

A very nice selection of shampoos there buddy - i've only tried Car-Chem and KKD.

The Gtechniq wash mitt was one on my list at Xmas; but i really prefer a pad rather than mitt.

So in the end i opted for the Microfibre Madness Incredipad..... which seems good and machine washable.

Looking at your purchases - i dont think you can go wrong really.... enjoy!

Some great products on show there chaps! Be sure to review them, interested on all your thoughts! :)

Absolutely - good to see the basics being well covered.....

Snowfoam, Shampoo, wash mitts....and don't forget the 2BM chaps.

Also worth mentioning at this time of year - to be careful on the lower half/sills and perhaps have a 2nd wash mitt for this.

I use some cheaper Noodle wash mitts for doing the lower half of the car through winter; completing a wash on the top half of the car first; then going back to tackle the sills.

Great advice! Something I added in to my routine also!

Gave some of the new products their first run out yesterday cleaning the wifes Ibiza which was really dirty.

I'll start with snowfoam, used the Angelwax Fastfoam through a foam lance. It produced a decent amount of foam that clung on very well but I wasn't overly impressed with its cleaning ability and it certainly didn't remove any more dirt than the Powermaxed TFR through a Mesto foamer that I normally use. I'll continue with it in a few more dilution ratios to see if it gets any better.

Shampoo wise I chose KKD Choccy Woccy in place of my normal shampoo which is Chemical Guys Citrus Wash 'n' Gloss (which I've run out of, hence trying some new ones). Well it certainly produced far less suds than the Wash 'n' Gloss which I was surprised at as it says its high foaming. It felt slick enough and cleaned well but I wouldn't describe it as being any better than the Wash 'n' Gloss, which like many Chemical Guys products is great value for money. Again I'll continue with it with some different dilution ratios to see if its me that was the problem.

The Wheel Woolies small brush was excellent, just the right size and compliments the normal Wheel Woolies perfectly. I used the Vikan long handled brush on the tyres, wheel arches and also the sills and again I was really impressed. If your running your car low, with little gap between the arch and top of the tyre then this brush won't fit in to do your arches.

I'll add some reviews of the other products as and when I use them.

The Gtechniq mitt I was a little sceptical about when I took it out of the packaging, but it performed really well. Held a lot of water/shampoo and cleaned effortlessly.

Appreciate the reviews matey. Awesome!

I found fast foam pretty decent, but not as good as Bilt Hamber Autofoam at cleaning in the end. Power Maxed TFR gets some good reviews, and as it allegedly doesn't strip protection, it sounds excellent.

CG make some great products that are all really under rated for me! I love my pot of 50/50 and have used some of their glazes which have also been excellent. I prefer a shampoo that doesn't leave anything behind; a pure shampoo. Wolfs White Satin is a pure shampoo, so will be interested on your thoughts about it.

Thanks again for the informative posts, buddy.

10pk of Waxpack Green BOAs to complete my setup for the year;

Green, Orange, Light Blue, Grey and Dark Blue BOA drawers in the garage.

A slight issue on the delivery - but Dan eventually sorted it....

As i'd just got my Octavia I thought it was a good time to restock my cleaning supplies so an order from clean your car and some other products I managed to wangle for free from work has left me with this:

VMu2Z27.jpg?4

I gave the car a quick wash today and stripped the previous products off and put a quick coat of EGP on and will do a more thorough job in the coming weeks and potentially even get the polisher out and do some correction work.

Thanks.

I'll stick some pics up when it's been done properly.

I think the car used to be owned by someone on here as it already has a briskoda sticker in the rear window.
