squeak from rear when turning left

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a mk3 vrs estate, started getting a squeak from passenger side when turning left. Aseems to be squeaking with rotation of the wheel but diappears when warmed up any ideas?

I've got no answers I'm afraid but I had pretty similar symptoms on my mk3 VRS hatchback yesterday. The noise was apparent when I was accelerating. I couldn't tell where the squeak-like noise was coming from, but it did seem to be in sync with the rotation of the wheels. The noise from mine also went away once the car/brakes had become warm.

When I inspected my car I did notice that the rear passenger brake disc was scored all the way around on the outside edge of the disc.

Has anyone else come across anything similar?

Ive had this on mine for ages. Asked 2 dealers to look at it they have no clue.

Don't think it's anything major just kind of annoying

I noticed a binding noise a few times on what appears to be my rear left brake. It was in the garage the other day and the said they stripped the brake assembly. It was intermittent so unsure if successful.

We get a squeak on full lock. Sounds like the front CV joint rubber. Quite loud
